Join us for a talk on the history of three villages in north Nelson Township from their birth in the mid 1800s and how they thrived just 1 kilometer apart for many years.

You will hear about a store that rivaled Timothy Eaton’s, a Vaudeville sensation, the controversy about the Dakota Mill name, the Powder Mill explosion, the imposter who practiced medicine in Kilbride and more of the rich history of this area.

Milton Historical Society: Carriage Room

Parking: Free lots on Mary St and Brown St, and on Main west of St. Paul’s.
