Speaker: Jane Mulkewich

Our guest speaker will be Jane Mulkewich, who will share the story of a local area slave, Sophia Pooley. She was taken from her parents in New York and brought to Upper Canada in 1778, then sold to Joseph Brant and later to Samuel Hatt of Ancaster.
