Today’s #TakeMeBackaMilton is Carroll’s store located at 176 Main St., on the left side of the parking lot next to Knox Presbyterian Church. This store operated from the 1930’s to the 1950’s, many of our older residents will recall shopping here and or working in this popular food store. In
The Crooked Tree
Today’s #TakeMeBackMilton is a photo of Maureen Dinsmore sitting in a tree which was shaped decades ago. This old tree was beside Highway 25 north of Milton in the Speyside area near St. Helena Road. It is said that this old Elm tree was shaped by natives as a trail
Willmott Factory
Today’s #TakeMeBackMilton is the factory built in 1908 by C. R. Willmott & Co. to manufacture agriculture equipment.
