The Milton Historical Society and the Waldie Blacksmith Shop offer Miltonians and visitors popular informative monthly speakers, blacksmith education, various events, archival collections and preservation of our community history, which is gradually being digitized and open to the public. The Society is governed by an all-volunteer board of directors and is supported by our membership and our group of dedicated volunteers working to keep our history alive. Operating as a non-profit organization isn’t an easy task, as with most organizations, to find a stable and diverse flow of funds which is vital to being able to carry out our mission. Individuals may donate, or will a Legacy using the power of a charitable gift to help protect Milton’s heritage for future generations. As a registered charity the MHS is able to offer tax reciepts.
